Aim: The paper aims to explain the complex caste dynamics presented in Munshi Premchand's book Godaan. This research examines the complex facets of caste through a deep analysis, including its social order, discrimination, and the ensuing effects on society. Methodology: This research intends to provide insight on the socioeconomic ramifications and underlying complications regarding caste in Indian society by examining how caste dynamics are portrayed in the novel. In order to portray the caste dynamics and socioeconomic realities of early 20th-century Indian society, Munshi Premchand's Godaan employs literary devices and narrative tactics. Premchand's storytelling techniques incorporate social realism by drawing on his own experiences and insights. Outcome: This project sheds light on the intricate caste dynamics depicted in Munshi Premchand's Godaan. through character analysis, it explores the impact of caste on individual lives, economic exploitation, and gender-based oppression. Conclusion: The study emphasizes the novel's continued relevance, highlighting the need for social reform and promoting a more inclusive and equitable society.
