Abstract

Aim: This research paper deals with the position of women and theme of caste in Ghasiram Kotwal by Vijay Tendulkar.

Methodology and Approaches: The goal of this paper is to understand that women are also equal as men. Society considers men as superior and women as inferior. Women are considered as the objects. Society should understand that women should also be given equal freedom as men.

Outcome: This essay helped me to enhance my knowledge regarding the work done in an informative way. Going through this paper really helped me in polishing my skills in research-based works.

Conclusion: Tendulkar has very clearly shown in his play Ghasiram Kotwal that how women are used to gain power. Women becomes the sufferer. Women should take stand for themselves.
