Abstract

Aims: The present paper entitled “A Study of Voices of the Voiceless in the poetry of Alok Dhanwa” aims to emphasize on Alok Dhanwa ‘s works and his writing style. It also talks about the initial phases of his life. This project also tries to establish relationship between Alok Dhanwa and Gandhi’s writings, a feminist approach and naxalism.

Methodology and approaches: The paper is based primarily on the insights of various articles about Alok Dhanwa and the kind of poetry he used to write. The elaborations have been in such a way that it provides a clear understanding about Alok Dhanwa and his contribution to literature. The methods and approaches adopted for writing of this paper are explanatory.

Outcome: This paper helps us to know about Alok Dhanwa’s writing in detail and how his writing explores the depth of human emotions and complexities of human relationships. This project gave us a brief of what he gave to literature.

Conclusion: This project tells me what a great personality is Alok Dhanwa and what all wonders his work has done in Indian writings and poetry.
